Refund and Return Policy

At Unix Training Academy, a DBA (Doing Business As) of IG Richard, we strive to provide high-quality training and services. However, we understand that there may be circumstances where a refund or cancellation is necessary. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds and returns are granted.

1. Course Enrollment Refund Policy

We offer refunds for course enrollments based on the following conditions:

  • Full Refund: Requests made within 7 days of enrollment, provided no course materials have been accessed.
  • Partial Refund: Requests made within 14 days of enrollment, with limited course progress (e.g., less than 20% completion).
  • No Refund: Once more than 50% of the course has been accessed or completed.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to help@igrichard.com with proof of purchase.

2. Digital Products and Course Materials

  • Due to the nature of digital training materials, refunds are not available for downloaded content.
  • If a course or material is defective or inaccessible, we will work to resolve the issue before considering a refund.

3. Subscription or Membership Refunds

  • Monthly or annual subscriptions to premium content are non-refundable once payment has been processed.
  • Users may cancel their subscription at any time to prevent future billing.

4. Live Training and Workshops

  • Cancellations made at least 3 days before the live training start date are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may receive a partial refund or credit for future training.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the training has started.

5. Failure to Attend

  • If a participant fails to attend a scheduled live session or workshop without prior notice, no refund will be granted.
  • In some cases, we may offer credit towards a future session at our discretion.

6. Processing Time for Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
  • Any transaction or processing fees incurred may be deducted from the refund amount.

7. Changes to Courses and Services

  • Unix Training Academy reserves the right to modify or cancel courses due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • If a course is canceled by us, students will be eligible for a full refund or course credit.
